Sailing and Skydiving

We had a very full and adventurous Saturday this last weekend. We started off the day heading into the city for an anniversary/birthday date. We had some discount passes to go sailing in the bay so we dropped the kids off and headed into the city. After grabbing some delicious lunch at Bubba Gumps, we met our group at the pier.

This was our boat

It was a perfect day for sailing...sunny and windy. So, even though we were freezing we were glad that it wasn't foggy and we could at least see all the beautiful sights.

Gotta love the windblown look. :)

Going under the Bay Bridge

It was a fun once in a lifetime experience and I'm glad we got to go.

After our sailing adventure, we picked the kids up and headed over to Union City. Jon's dad turned the big 5-0 last week so we met up with his family and celebrated with some indoor skydiving. I didn't try it but everybody had a great time. The kids and I watched and took pictures. They thought it was the coolest thing ever.

Excuse the terrible pictures....dirty glass and flash are not a good mix for pictures. But you get the idea. They have this long wind tunnel and they blow wind up so you get the sensation of skydiving.

An all around fun, adventurous day!

What a day! We did that sailing trip (or very similar) and loved it too!
