We carved a pumpkin on Monday. It is our one and only Halloween decoration. I just have a really hard time getting into Halloween. Here are some pictures of the pumpkin carving. It is so fun to see Emma really getting into the things we do as she is getting older.

Pumpkins
We spent a LONG sleepless night last night. I'm not sure what's going on. Emma went to bed at 5:30 last night! We were outside playing and she just laid down on the sidewalk and tried to go to sleep. She was so tired. Then she woke up twice during the night because she had thrown up everywhere. We put her in bed with us and she is still sleeping at 9 am. She has never been sick before so I have no idea what to do. Do I let her sleep? Do I wake her up so she can eat something? Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated! I'm kind of frustrated because I finally don't babysit today and I have so many errands to run but it doesn't look like anything's going to happen. Doesn't it always work that way??? Oh well, it's not her fault. I should take advantage of the free time while she's sleeping and try and get my house clean, but instead I'm blogging. :)

Our Week in Review
It's been a busy but good week. I started babysitting a little girl that I used to watch last year so I felt like there were kids here nonstop. She'll only be here 2 or 3 days a month though so it's not too bad. We enjoyed the nice fall weather (and the 70 degree weather on Friday) all week and then Saturday brought in lots of snow! Winter is here and I don't know if I'm ready for it. I'm just grateful that we have a heater and we don't have to pay for our heat. :)
Emma got 2 more teeth on top bringing the grand total to 6. Along with the teeth came many sleepless nights. I'm very glad that that's passed!
The highlight of our week was that Jon got his demo reel done and sent out to several different studios. He applied for both jobs and internships at 6 different studios. So, please pray for us. We need something to work out. He has worked so hard and done such a good job. If anyone wants to see his work or his new demo reel it's on his website which you can find on our links.

Emma loved the water fountains. She attempted to jump in several times. She thought it was a big bath.

I went with a couple girls in my ward to the temple again on Tuesday. We were trying to take our kids to the park for a picnic but ended up here. The kids all wanted to see the water. It was a lot of fun.

Emma loves playing with Jon. Here she's flying around on Winnie the Pooh.

Just some pictures...
I realized that I haven't posted any real pictures in a little while so here are a few from the last couple weeks.

A new obsession...stacking and moving and restacking. She'll do it with anything but cans are a favorite. They're also really fun to throw down the hall. :)

This box was the perfect size. She climbed in and pulled the flap down. Then she wanted to be pushed.

This is Emma and Ryan, the little boy I babysit. They are such good little friends and play really well together.

Well, that's all for now. There is really nothing exciting going on. We are going to get family pictures tomorrow...finally! Our last one was taken when Emma was 4 months old so it's definitely time. We are praying for good weather and really hope that we have at least one turn out!
Thanks for the package Grandma and Grandpa. We loved it!

We are the proud new owners
We are the very proud and happy new owners of this Sit n Stand stroller. I have always thought these were so cool but we've never had the need until now. Since I babysit 3 days a week I really wanted something that I could push both kids in so we can get out of the house. Now that I'm pregnant I finally felt justified in buying it. We got it used (only 1 month old!) and got a great deal on it so I am so excited. You know you have kids when the most exciting part of your day is getting a stroller. :)
Baby Picture
Well, there you have it. Baby Farrell #2 is on it's way! I am due May 17, 2008. I haven't been really sick at all, which is a huge difference from when I was pregnant with Emma. So, we're kind of thinking it's a boy but we'll see. We're so excited! We're pretty sure Emma's excited too. We keep telling her there's a baby in mommy's tummy and she says baby over and over and looks around the room. It's okay Emma, I wish it were here too.

Yes it really is true...
I am posting again this week. I feel so on top of things. We had a rough day yesterday. It always takes Emma a day or two to adjust after her schedule is all messed up on Sundays and I think she was extra tired from our day of traveling on Saturday. Anyway, today was SO much better. The weather was a little chilly but nice enough that we spent almost 4 hours outside. I love being able to go outside and let her get all her energy out. :) I also pulled the bubbles out and we blew bubbles for awhile. Emma loved that. When we came back in she wanted to model her hat and sunglasses so here are a few shots. I love good, happy days!
