Preschool Fun

When we moved in February, we were blessed to get Emma into a really great preschool here. The teachers are all volunteers and are so great with the kids. And all the kids get along really well too. They are such a cute little group of kids. We have LOVED having Emma in preschool, and she has loved it too. But the inevitable is upon us...preschool ends next week. I don't know what I'm going to do this summer!

Anyway, since it was the end of the year, there were some fun things planned. On Thursday the class went on a field trip to a nearby park. They all wore these cute red bandannas around their necks and walked with a buddy to the park and back. The highlight for Emma was watching the fish in the pond there.

I snapped this picture of them walking back...just thought they looked so cute!

And this was when she saw me and Matthew

Afterwards we met at one of her classmate's homes to have a good bye/thank you party for the teachers. There was lots of yummy food and the kids played hard. It was a really hot day though and it was nap time so by the time they took pictures Emma was losing it...crying and screaming that she didn't want her picture taken. It was awesome...

The teachers L to R: Cathy, Renee, Tish, and Garnet (the guy in the back is one of the pastors at the preschool church...and I hadn't ever seen him before this.)

The kids (with a few siblings thrown in)
When we got home Emma insisted that she wasn't tired and didn't need a nap. After a few minutes of her protesting it got really quiet. This is what I found in the hall...
It was a fun day!

Sounds like so much fun! Are you putting her in preschool again next year or a pre-k class or something? Love the fit/nap!
