We stayed really busy while in Idaho. We tried to have one thing planned each day.
The first day we were there we went to the Rexburg spray park....always a good time! It was warm, but there was a breeze and most of the kids sat out, complaining about the cold for the first little while. It took some coaxing, but they finally jumped in.
This was right before Matthew got knocked off the slide by that huge wave.
Lots of smiles from the baby
It is tradition for my family to go to the Playmill Theater in West Yellowstone every year. They always do such an awesome job and it's a lot of fun. This year we saw Dirty Rotten Scoundrels...so funny!
We also went to Jensen's Grove in Blackfoot. We were really lucky and had gorgeous weather most of the time we were in Idaho! It was a really fun day swimming, splashing, and playing in the sand.
Despite the super hot day, we got a fire going in the fire pit and roasted marshmallows. Then all the cousins got to camp out in the backyard together....which made for a fun, but really late night.
One of the kids favorite things was riding trains. My sister's friends have this awesome little train that runs throughout their property. We spent a good around riding around and around.
The kids also spent A LOT of time jumping on the trampoline. Every morning they would get up, eat breakfast, and head straight out to jump.
There were several awesome rain storms while we were there. I had forgotten what a good rainstorm, complete with thunder and lightning, was like. And the rainstorms finished with these gorgeous double rainbows. I generally have no desire to ever live in Idaho again, but those rainstorms made me want to stay there all summer.
