Idaho in Pictures: Home- Week 2

Week 2 in Idaho was BUSY! We found ourselves trying to cram in all the stuff we didn't get done the first week...and we threw in a little sickness as well! Jon was down on Sunday and then Matthew caught a nasty bug a couple days later. But we still managed to have fun.

One morning Jon took Emma and Matthew up to the St. Anthony sand dunes. Despite the heat, they had a great time. What kid wouldn't love a sandbox this big?

After the sand dunes, most of my family met up at Rexburg Rapids, a little water park/swimming pool. It was a fun way to spend a HOT afternoon.

Carter and Ellie...the two babies. Carter loved playing with the swing and checking out the little baby while he was there.

Jenna was so sweet to read stories to Ellie....terrible picture, but it was so cute I had to post it.

Thursday and Friday Jon and I took the kids camping in Yellowstone....pictures to come!

The whole reason for our trip was to go to my parent's family reunion. Though most of us were there the entire time, the official reunion was Saturday and Sunday...our last 2 days there. We started out the day by attending my nephew's baptism.
We spent the rest of the day hanging, out, talking, riding my dad's 4 wheeler, celebrating a couple of birthdays, and taking family pictures.

Celebrating Spencer's 4th birthday and Hannah's 3rd birthday

Sunday, we went to church, and then everyone got together for Sunday dinner. We decided last minute (like Sunday afternoon!) to drive home that night instead of the next morning. The kids did great, sleeping almost the entire time, but Jon and I were really struggling the last half of the drive. Pulling up into our driveway has never felt so good! We put a movie on for the kids and crawled into bed to get what sleep we could.

(And I'm ALMOST done with Idaho pictures....Promise!)
